France

Trip to France

Long time ago, we have been thinking a place to go when the classes are gone.
We decided to go to France for six days, to visit the monuments, museums, amusement park...
We arrived at the airport in Paris at lunchtime. As we were hungry, we went to a coffee shop that was there.
After eating we went to the hotel, we leave our luggage and took a Taxi to go to the amusement park. It was very big and from the moment that we saw it, we knew that we would not give time to get to all the attractions. There was a large pink castle, a great source, many markets and lots of Disney characters walking through the Disneyland Park.
Then we went to the hotel and had dinner there. The food we didn´t like because it had too much butter, by this we started to buy the dinner at a gas station that had near. After ``dinner´´ we went to the hotel where, by surprise, we looked a few killed cockroaches...DISGUSTING!
The second day we decided to dedicate to visit the city after breakfast, because it was the only good food of the hotel. We did a tour bus. They gave us helmets to hear the instructions in Spanish. We saw the arc of Triomphe, the Pantheon, the Obelisk of Luxor, the Arc of Triumph of Carrousel... and many more. Before lunch we went to the Eiffel Tower. After a long time, we could go up, but only  to the second floor, because we were afraid to up more. From above we saw all very small and there was a park with a drawn heart of land. We ate croissants with ham and cheese with chocolate to drink at the Eiffel Tower . We were many time. Then, we went to the Cathedral of Saint Louis des Invalides where a nice man gave us bread to feed the birds. I was the first to try, I really liked the experience and the birds made me a lot of tickling.
In the afternoon, we went for a ride in a boat on the Seine river, where also gave us helmets to hear the information. From the boat, we saw the Louvre Museum. It was very relaxing. We arrived about nine oclock, we had a dinner from the petrol station and we went to sleep.
The third day we spent all the morning in the Walt Disney Studios where all the attractions were based on Disney films and had things like the throne of the Queen of Narnia, the characters of monsters S.A, antique cars... There, we ate a hot dog. We took pictures with characters of Disney like Minnie and Goofy. In the afternoon we saw a parade. The parade was about characters from many films and was very fun.
The next two days we were in Disneyland Park because it was the best of the trip. We use the most of the attractions with the exception of which were for children. There was one in which we wanted to climb, but we believe it broke because we saw people getting off the train... Luckily we dont climb.
The last day we didn´t anything because we had to be at the airport at twelve o´clock. For me this trip was perfect except the hotel and the hotel food... :))

Diary of Scoop.it

Diary of Scoop.it

Our teacher told us that we had to choose a country in the world, at the beginning we chose Swaziland (Africa), but their food was very different, strange and difficult to do. We told to Sergio about if we could change our country and he said ``Okay, not problem´´ and finally we decided to choose France (Europe). We chose France because their breakfasts are easy and very delicious. We brought croissants with ham and cheese and jam, fruit, coffee with milk, and milk with Cola Cao.

When we did the breakfast, the teacher told us that we had to create an account on a page which was called Scoop.it and we did it. We needed to find information and news about France and send it to me, the coordinator so that I could put it on the page.
In the class we started with tablets but they worked HORRIBLY! especially our tablet, which was blocked. Sergio proposed to go to the Medusa´s classroom and work there. This idea was better than tablets because the computers were faster and the group could see better what we were doing.
We put all the interesting things that we find on the Internet about France (songs, news, stories, photos...).
Later, Sergio told us that we had to do a small job of our country, for example a video, speak a little bit of everything... We decided to talk about one of the most famous amusement parks of Europe, Disneyland, and put pictures.
On Monday 20th we will present our diary but until Monday we will continue to work on the computers.
At the end, we didn´t do the trip to France, because it wasn´t creative. We made a presentation in which we said some interesting things about France, for example, in France the majority of people live in Paris or in the French Riviera, have a very special kiss (French kiss) ...
We didn't present that day, we went to Medusa the days 21th, 22th, 23th, 24th, 28th, 29th, 30th, 31th, 4 th and 5th of May and June until the days 6th and 7th of June because we saw the pesentations of our mates.
At the end we present the day 11th of June.
We were very nervous because we were afraid to make a mistake or they did not  like our presentation, but at the end everything went very well each of us dressed up like a famous french person.

Ana was Spark that is a bulb.
Carla dressed up like a typical French person.
Julia was Marcel Marceau, he was an important mime.
Lorena was Jean-Paul  Gaultier, an important designer.
Anabel was one of the most important women in France and around the world, Marie Curie.
